descriptionAnne Norlander has served as Calhoun County Clerk and Register of Deeds for 24 years and is a lifelong Michigan Republican Party leader. In 2009 she embarked on a campaign to become Michigan's next Secretary of State. She enlisted the help of Joshua Leatherman and his team at shuandi to develop compelling email campaigns that integrated e-commerce, social media, and voter ID. After a short period, the campaign retained shuandi to manage the overall campaign and hired Joshua Leatherman as Chief Strategist. shuandi created marketing pieces for the Norlander campaign (print and direct mail, video, html email, web, social media), and performed regular voter ID and segmentation for customized communication.

In Allegan County, shuandi and a handful of Republicans defied the odds and made national headlines when their candidate, Kevin Cronin, defeated an incumbent Granholm appointed Judge. shuandi created print, direct mail, and radio advertisements for the campaign, assisted in obtaining critical endorsements, and developed strategic alliances with PAC's, resulting in a 215 vote victory out of 45,000 votes cast. shuandi has assisted numerous Republican and non-partisan campaigns by developing campaign plans, training candidates, creating marketing pieces (html email, social media, video, print and radio), and voter identification and segmentation.
